Is the electrical quote you provide a fixed price for the job?
Unless we are carrying out an emergency call out and then you will pay us on a fixed rate by the hour, our quotes are comprehensive and will include all aspects of the works required. It is rare but can happen when we remove a partition wall, or lift up floor boards and we find an issue that wasn’t visible at the time of the quote, we will inform you immediately and provide you with an instant cost based on our assessment of what we have discovered before we go ahead.
Do you provide any design service?
We work with our clients to find the best use of space for the family or business to ensure there are optimum number of power points or light fittings to meet the design needs of the home. We work with interior designers to enable elaborate light fittings to be installed. And we work with our larger commercial clients in their businesses to get the best use of the space with the most efficient use of power to keep bills to a minimum.
Can you covert my home to smart technology?
Yes, we can and there are significant advantages to using smart technologies, you are able to manage most of the automated processes from your phone, your heating systems, your home security, lights, even closing your curtains, its up to you how many devices you want to add to the smart hub. We will work with you improve the energy efficiency of your home or business.
Do I need an electrician to install an EV (Electric Vehicle) Point if I purchase an electric vehicle?
In theory you only need a 13amp plug and socket to charge your electric vehicle, but this is not recommended by the manufactures. You will be advised to contact an electrician as there will be certain checks required before installing you EVCP (Electric Vehicle Charging Point) Talk to us before you purchase your new vehicle and we can check your property to make sure it has a suitable supply and access is possible and safe.
